Step into the breathtaking world of Carole Feuerman, where sculpture transcends realism to capture the quiet power of the human spirit. Internationally acclaimed as a pioneer of superrealism, Feuerman masterfully renders swimmers and bathers in moments of serene stillness and strength—each work a testament to precision, emotion, and grace.

Her sculptures, available in monumental, life-size, and miniature scales, evoke a universal sense of resilience and calm.

Carole Feuerman, Justice (monumental), Lacquer on Bronze and Stainless Steel, 112 x 86 x 86 inches; The Seaport, NYC

Feuerman's monumental pieces make commanding statements in outdoor and public spaces, whether rendered in bronze, resin, or adorned with Swarovski crystals and 24K gold leaf, each sculpture reflects Feuerman’s unmatched attention to texture, form, and emotion.
After a year on Park Avenue, five of  Feuerman’s iconic swimmers, including Justice (above), moved to the Seaport in New York. This historic neighborhood, considered the cradle of America, provides the ideal backdrop for the monumental works of the superrealist sculptor. Overlooking the East River and with the Brooklyn Bridge as a backdrop, this open-air exhibition offered tourists and New Yorkers a walk imbued with aquatic poetry.

Carole Feuerman, Survival of Serena (monumental), Lacquer on Epoxy with Swarovski Crystals, 37 x 81 x 31 inches; Santa Caterina a Formiello, Naples, Italy

Feuerman's exhibitions include The 2024 Paris Olympics, Palazzo Bonaparte in Rome, the Smithsonian Institution's National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C., the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, and the Palazzo Strozzi Palace in Florence, Italy. Her sculptures are also in the permanent collections of thirty-four museums, as well as the featured in the private collections of Steven A. Cohen, Former President Clinton, Dr. Henry Kissinger, and Malcolm Forbes, among others.

Contemplation (life-size), Lacquer on Epoxy with Gold Leaf, 44 x 22 x 34 inches

Bibi on the Ball (life-size), Lacquer on Bronze, 64 x 46 x 34 inches

Feuerman’s monumental sculptures are nothing short of breathtaking—commanding presence, exquisite realism, and an uncanny ability to capture serenity and strength at once. These larger-than-life works stop viewers in their tracks, inviting awe and contemplation. However, her life-size sculptures hold just as much power, in a more intimate scale.

Their scale allows for a deeper connection with the subject—every bead of water, every strand of hair is rendered with meticulous detail that draws viewers in. These pieces are perfectly suited for both private collections and curated public spaces.

Kendall Island (life-size), Oil on Bronze with Swarovski Crystals, 70 x 21 x 38 inches

Chrysalis (life-size), Lacquer on Epoxy with Swarovski Crystals, 33 x 18 x 36 inches

While the life-size works bring a striking intimacy, Feuerman's miniature and table-top sculptures offer the same depth and detail in collectible, personal formats—inviting close contemplation and connection.

Carole Feuerman with Balance (miniature), Oil on Resin with Gold Leaf, 18 x 16 x 9 inches

Feuerman’s miniature and tabletop sculptures may be small in scale, but they’re rich in detail and emotion. These smaller works capture the same superrealism and serene beauty found in her larger pieces, distilled into collectible forms perfect for display in personal spaces. Ideal for collectors looking to experience Feuerman’s artistry up close; these sculptures offer a powerful presence in a compact size.

Feuerman's sculptures are not merely decorative; they are narratives of resilience, balance, and the human experience. As she herself notes, her swimmers are "peace loving, and sometimes pleasure loving... they are survivors."
