Carole Feuerman's hyper-realistic creations now grace New York City's Park Avenue, spanning 34th to 38th Street in Murray Hill. Feuerman, a pioneer of the hyper-realistic movement since the 1970s, stands as the sole female artist creating hyper-realistic painted outdoor sculptures.
The series of nine sculptures captures the essence of carefree summer, featuring swimmers on beach balls, inner tubes, and in mid-dive. Vibrant colors create a vivid contrast against the urban backdrop, while reflective accents add a touch of brilliance, glistening in sunlight. Presented by the Patrons of Park Avenue (POPA), this marks their second outdoor exhibition. The swimmers' exuberance aligns with the season's spirit, inviting all to revel in their art.
The Park Avenue sculptures will be accessible until year-end 2023. Carole Feuerman's hyper-realistic artistry blends reality and imagination, offering an opportunity to dive into a world where art comes vividly to life.
