Judy Stabile
Los Angeles artist Stabile attended Chouinard Art Institute in the late 60′s and early 70″s, where her work was first influenced by the light and space movement.
She uses various materials in her paintings and sculptures, including glass, metal leaf and powder coated aluminum. Know for robust geometric shapes and luminous colors, her work references the state of equilibrium inherent in nature, which she refers to as “geometric interplay.”
Well established in the Southern California art world, Stabile currently lives and works out of her studio in Venice, California.
